HDR Mentors Outreach Program: Lane Cove National Park Bush Care Project
Would you like to
have some stress released while serving for the name of incredible nature of
Australia? We have started a new volunteering bush care project in
collaboration with Lane Cove
National Park
and the community, which is known as Friends of Lane Cove National Park.
The National Park does a great job for bush regeneration after bushfires, but the native plants are threatened by weeds coming from urban areas. You have a chance to help to protect the natural landscape and beauty of Lane Cove, which is bordering to Macquarie University campus.

- Exercise and release stress!
- Learning! Training! Work experience!
- A pleasant weekend day outside!
- The spot is easily accessible by public transport! It's about 15 minutes by walk from MQU campus.
- Date and Time Required - Third Saturday of every month . 3 hours per session. One session per month (attendance of every session is not obligatory).
- Good for: everyone, including Families and volunteers with limited English.
